Lena (pronounced LAYNA) has been cake decorating for nine years and in this time has learned from and worked alongside some of the country's best.


Savvy Cakes has grown substantially during this time with photoshoots, bridal exhibition appearances, pop-up shops and ongoing collaborations with other sugar artists, event stylists and photographers. Her work has been published in magazines like Confetti Fair and Complete Wedding Sydney.


In 2016 Lena developed a cookie recipe for Dr Oetker Baking Australia New Zealand along with picture tutorials that are currently published on their website.

Lena is a current nominee for BEST TEACHER in the Australian Cake Decorating Network's annual Cake Industry Awards and has taught cake and cookie decorating at the last two Cake Bake & Sweets Shows in Sydney and Melbourne

Cakes are torted with couverture chocolate ganache and then decorated to suit the requirements of each individual client.


Novelty cakes are carved by hand to ensure the perfect shape.
